Cedar Grove Acres is a rustic event venue featuring 25 acres of farmland as well an 1850's farmhouse. The venue is reopening in Spring 2026 after being closed for a year and a half due to the previous owners' retirement. We are so excited for the re-opening and are now booking weddings & other events occuring April 2026 or later.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When do you hold weddings?

Our wedding season runs from mid-April thru June and all of September thru the first week of November. Other weeks are either a bit too hot or too cold, and we want every wedding here to be as perfect as possible!

When do you host other events?

We host other events like birthday parties, reunions, non-profit fundraisers and celebrations of life on weekdays during wedding season and on occasional Sundays during wedding season. Availability varies, so please just ask if your desired date is available.

How much does it cost to have a wedding at Cedar Grove Acres?

Our prices range from $3,500 to $6,000 depending on the day of the week. When you send us a message, please let us know what date(s) you are considering for your wedding, and we will message back with our pricing guide.

How do we reserve our wedding or event date?

You reserve a date on our calendar with a $1,500 deposit. We do not hold dates without a deposit, but do our best to let them be first-come first-serve....meaning, if you tour for a specific date and we get more tour requests for that same date, we will message you to let you know that others are interested so you can make a decision.

Do you require a wedding planner?

Yes, we require at a minimum that every wedding employ the services of at least a day-of wedding coordinator to ensure a worry-free wedding day. For larger weddings (100+ guests), we highly recommend hiring a full service wedding planner, and we have a list of affordable planners we know & trust.

What is included in a typical wedding package?

  • Full access to the farm for ceremony in the meadow, reception & photos
  • Access to bridal cottage for hair, makeup, getting dressed with bridal party
  • Reception in the Hay Shack open air pavilion (white shears included)
  • 40ft wood table with rustic wood chairs PLUS 60-in round tables with white chairs
  • Access to the firepit with wood provided
  • Sound system for DJ use
  • 3 on-site visits for planner/vendors/final walkthrough
  • Optional upgrade starting October 2026 - use of FARMHOUSE for bridal party (spend the night after rehearsal, full wedding day use)

We also have a large decor closet full of props, flowers, vases, candles, signs and more! Engaged couples are welcome to pull items from our stash to save on decor costs, which can really add up the savings.
